TIME FOR WINTER ERGING CHALLENGES

Concept2 has various ways of helping you keep your training on track this winter.  Two options include the Holiday Winter Challenge, which helps raise money for several nonprofits, and the January Virtual Challenge, which is a team event.  Join Team Nereid and help the club rack up some kms!  Here's how:

- Go to the Concept2 Online Logbook

- If you don't have an online logbook, sign up.
- Go to the Teams link
- Click Join Team and select Team Nereid.
- Go to the "Team Challenge" sections and confirm your participation in the January Virtual Challenge 2010 that starts in January.
- Each time you row on the erg or on the water, log your meters in your online logbook.  They will automatically count toward Team Nereid's totals.

TURKEY ROAMING IN BOATHOUSE

Twice in the last two weeks, an evening erger has left the thermostat at 65 degrees with many of the upstairs windows open!  Please, for the sake of the environment and the Nereid budget, take extra care to leave the thermostat at 50 degrees and ensure all windows are closed.  The thermostat should only be raised for meetings/gatherings, not for erging!
